I have attended the ITIL Foundation and ITIL Practitioner Release and Control
courses run by DDLS. Both of these courses were packaged and presented in a very professional way,
with all of the course ware and information presented in a timely and relevant way -
giving trainees examples of how ITIL can be implemented in all facets of IT Service delivery.
I can confidently say that I have a practical and working knowledge of ITIL concepts and am
proud to have been accredited with my ITIL qualification.. I am utilising the skills and

Just wanted to let you know you did a fantastic job in presenting the
Communication & Customer Skills for IT Professionals!!! We were advised prior to
the course that you were a really good instructor, but you still exceeded my expectations.
You were able to make it exciting and were able to maintain my attention for the entire time.
Not usually an easy task, come 2pm.
I found it quite difficult when we given the task to respond to a situation and put the
tools/knowledge we learnt into practice. I guess you would need to continually go over and
over these processes for them to become as easy to carry out as you make them look. I was
amazed to see how easily you could come up with the right respose for different situations.
One of my Managers asked me how the course went and when I told him how good you were he
wanted your details! He is from Sydney and is a Program Manager for Inflight
Entertainment. He has a few difficult customers that he would like to communicate
better with. He has tried reading several books to find the answer but still hasn't
found the right approach.

way to deal with these, it has made communicate better for others to understand.

Since I started working for FuturePlus in June 2006 I've been sent on the following courses hosted at DDLS;

Firstly, with regards to the booking process, my manager usually deals with this side of things, however, I've always found Jeff, my account manager at DDLS, to be extremely helpful and he always keeps me up-to-date with the booking progress, course details, etc... I can't recall a time where I've had to chase Jeff for any details he's omitted and the few times I have sought to clarify a point he's always answered my query to my complete satisfaction and very promptly to boot!
The location is ideal for me as it's pretty much just around the corner from where I work. I can't imagine a more conveniently located training centre. The facilities there are excellent too and the catering staff should be praised as the food has always been really good and the fact that the catering is also done in-house is also a big plus for me. In the past I've attended courses at other centres where they take you to an external location for lunch. This doesn't allow much time for me to do anything else with the lunch break and you're tied to everyone else's pace. Other facilities at DDLS are also very good and I cannot think of a single negative issue that I can raise.
The courses themselves have all been very good and generally very useful for me in my career. No course is ever going to totally reflect the needs within your own organisation but I did find that they gave enough relevant information for me to then go away and do further research where appropriate. The instructors have always been knowledgeable of the subject material and always very helpful. With regards to the ITIL course in particular, I found the instructor particularly good in his summary session on the morning before the exam. I believe that because of the way he focussed on key points he ensured that I came away with a 37/40 pass mark!
In summary, I would never hesitate to recommend DDLS or Jeff to anyone looking to attend a training course. I have always been extremely satisfied throughout the duration of each course, and am further impressed by the number and diversity of courses available.

The Learning Centre facilities in South Melbourne where I have had most of the training are excellent coupled with the excellent knowledge and capabilities of the instructors.

I attended DDLS’ Time Management course on Monday 1st June 2009 and wanted to say thank you to DDLS and my instructor Donna.
I have taken several things from the course that have helped no end! Yesterday was my first day implementing the new methodology and it is working! For the more challenging members of my team I have scheduled 20 minute slots each day at their desk (not mine) and it worked yesterday as I was able to deal with business and walk away without being followed. Obviously, coming to my desk invited general conversation that I simply don’t have time for.
I have also started closing my Outlook and opening it only once every hour which makes a massive difference as I learned that I WON’T miss anything and the most any one will have to wait is 1 hour. This has led me to actually only read an email once using the process of read & delete, read & file or read & drag into my calendar to a time slot I can commit to.
Another really great tool which I have to thank you for (and cant believe I didn’t think of this) is my task list is now broken down into sub tasks. And you know the great things is, the only items on my task list were huge (or appeared to be) hence why they were not getting done. However when breaking down the tasks, there really is nothing to them and in those smaller “bite size chunks”, they are easily achievable! Especially now that I have allocated time to each one.
I have learned that I DON’T have a rubbish memory, I just had too much in big chunks to be across it all…. This new way is much easier to track… AND I left on time yesterday!
In closing… I just need to say that I cant thank you enough for the tools you have given me and my team.

I am currently performing a role that sees me dealing with a variety of senior project managers on a daily basis. Attending this Project Management training course has given me a better insight into how to interface more effectively with them so that the overall objective can be achieved. I intend pursuing a permanent career as a Project Manager. This course has taught me the core competencies and attributes of a successful Project Manager. It has also shown me the certification pathway for how to formally achieve PMI certification. I am particularly happy with the course trainer, course content and venue amenities.
I had the pleasure of being taught by Peter for the five days I recently spent at DDLS. Peter brought a wealth of real world experience into the classroom. He inspired the others in the group to work well together and this created a very positive learning environment. Peter’s experiences as a project manager significantly increased the amount of knowledge I have taken away from the course. He provided many examples of his specific experiences performing the role of a project manager which help everyone in the room relate better to the course content. I have no hesitation recommending Peter Bail to anyone that wishes to undertake a Project Management course.

The courses were very practical. The instructors gave us enough time to use the tools in the applications and feel comfortable with them. The instructors were fantastic.
I found the hands-on approach and demonstrations to be very helpful. It was helpful to be able to complete the exercises and I walked away with a better understanding. The instructor was very knowledgeable, open to sharing and did a great job involving everyone.
The workbook had relevant examples and took us through step- by – step. The instructors knowledge and skill with engaging the classroom participation was most beneficial.

Over the past few years I have co-ordinated the attendance of over 50 Telstra IP networking staff, across three states, on Cisco courses ICND-1 and ICND-2 in preparation for CCNA certification. DDLS provided highly focussed customer support to enable this lengthy program to be delivered via both public and private courses. Given the size of the engagement, DDLS was able to pre-deliver the course notes across the country, enabling staff to prepare for the courses in advance to help make the most of their time at DDLS.
DDLS provided an excellent learning environment. The vast majority of staff found the instructors to be of very high quality with solid technical knowledge. So far, many staff have since achieved their CCNA certification. And while DDLS doesn’t deal directly in the booking of Cisco exams, it does provide accredited exam facilities, and given the feedback I have received, the DDLS exam facilities are viewed as being among the best

DDLS was chosen to support the 2009 Victorian Royal Bushfires Commission in their migration from Lotus Domino/Notes to Microsoft Exchange/Outlook 2007, and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint 2007, and Record Point. They identified the need to support their staff in the transition and introduction of these new technologies, and recognised the benefit in customising their training offering to their specific requirements and timeframes.
The project presented a number of challenges due to the tight timeframes, the upgrade and implementation of numerous applications, and the fact that a change of behaviours that were required from staff using them. Dimension Data Learning Solutions were keen to understand the issues at hand, and worked to our time constraints, providing us with a customised solution and allocating the necessary resources.
The instructional designers were able to design training materials that met the ever-changing scope, and the trainers provided a great level of service by pro-actively helping our staff. As a result, feedback from the organisation has been extremely positive and the training element played a strong contribution to the success of the project.

Project Management for Practitioners - Essential Skills Program was well structured and tailored for ease of understanding. The information, materials and the study area were all top notch. The course was good value for money and really left me with a good understanding of the processes and practical application of Project Management.
The instructor that led this course was one of, if not the best, course facilitator i have ever worked with. The depth and breadth of his knowledge and experience meant he was able to respond with several examples to every question we asked of him.
