DDLS Booking Terms and Conditions

Course bookings can be made with DDLS over the phone, via email or via DDLS website.

Terms and Conditions for Public Courses

  1. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment
  2. Payment is required at the time of the booking and no less than ten business days before course commencement.
  3. All DDLS prices are in Australian Dollars and incur GST unless otherwise specified and that all courses run from 9am to 5pm, unless otherwise specified.
  4. Notification of cancellation must be received in writing 10 or more working days prior to course commencement. In order to cancel you must advise via email to training@ddls.com.au.
  5. Booking alterations made within 10 business days prior to course commencement are subject to a 20% + GST transfer / cancellation fee. Special conditions apply for private courses, please refer below. Attendance substitution is accepted-please notify DDLS before the course. Refunds will not be issued to students who fail to attend training.
  6. If a student feels a course is not appropriate for them, they must advise the instructor by the end of the first day to enable transfer to an appropriate course. All materials provided by DDLS must be returned. Sitting the course beyond the first day implies commitment.
  7. DDLS reserves the right to change dates, courses and fees without notice. DDLS assumes no responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets or other expenses incurred due to course cancellations.
  8. Students must satisfy course prerequisites as specified in DDLS course outlines.
  9. If a student leaves a course due to illness or work commitments they may resit entire course within 6 months providing they bring original course materials.
  10. Packages are non-transferable, non-refundable and must be completed within 12 months of the commencement of the first course.
  11. DDLS is not liable for the loss or theft of or damage to student's property when attending courses and/or exams.
  12. Refunds are NOT available for International bookings if course is student cancels booking within the ten business days before course commencement.

Terms and Conditions for Private Courses

  1. A "private course" means a course organised exclusively for the organisation purchasing the training, where course participants are restricted to those selected by the company. A private course can be held on the customers site or at DDLS’s premises.
  2. In order to confirm a private course booking, date and the associated resources required to run the course, payment is required at the time of accepting the DDLS private course quote. Payment can be made by EFT, Cheque, Credit Card or Purchase Order (for approved customers only).  Please note that the course cannot be confirmed until payment is received.
  3. All requests to cancel or change private course dates once confirmed, must be made in writing to DDLS no less than 20 business days prior to the commencement date of the course. Cancellations  and date change requests received by DDLS  less than 20 business days, but more than 10 business days prior to the start of the course, will incur a fee of 50% of the total course price. Cancellations and date change requests received less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will incur a fee of 80% of the total course price.

Terms and Conditions for Red Hat Courses

  1. Payment is required at the time of booking.
  2. Cancellation notifications after 10 full working days prior to course commencement date are not eligible for refund.
  3. Students are allowed 1 reschedule per class up until 10 days before course start date. The new session date must be given at the time of the reschedule notification and rescheduled classes must be taken within 6 months of original scheduled date.
  4. Payment must be made in full prior to any rescheduling.
  5. Student substitutions can be made 48 hours prior to a class start.
  6. If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.
  7. All other standard DDLS Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions for F5, Bluecoat and Riverbed Courses

  1. Payment is required at the time of booking.
  2. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 10 working days before course commencement.
  3. Cancellations received within 10 working days of course commencement will not be refunded but credit is transferable to any other course conducted within one month or when the next course of the same title is available (whichever is earlier).
  4. Attendee substitutions are permitted.
  5. If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.
  6. All other standard DDLS Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions for Digital Investigations Courses

  1. Payment is required at the time of booking.
  2. Cancellation notifications after 10 full working days prior to course commencement date are not eligible for refund.
  3. Student substitutions can be made 48 hours prior to a class start.
  4. If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.
  5. All other standard DDLS Terms and Conditions apply.

Prometric Voucher

  1. Vouchers may be redeemed only for the Prometric Client and testing program for which they were purchased.
  2. Vouchers are not transferable between programs. Vouchers are not returnable or refundable. Your vouchers have an expiration date.
  3. They must be redeemed and the exam must be taken prior to this date or they will become invalid.
  4. Expiration dates are most often between 6 and 12 months from the our purchase date and are set by Prometric's Client for whose testing program the voucher is valid.

 

VCP5 Upgrade Offer

  1. Course must be booked and sat prior to 29 February 2012.
  2. Individuals must register for and take exams prior to 12 March 2012.
  3. Offer only valid for publicly scheduled DDLS VMware vSphere What’s New course.
  4. What’s New course and free VCP5 exam RRP inc GST $1870.
  5. $115 (50% of exam cost) will be deducted from the What’s New course price (RRP inc GST $1870 - $115 = RRP inc GST $1755) and a 50% discount voucher given to the individual to redeem when booking exam.
  6. Exam vouchers are only valid for the VMware VCP5 exam.
  7. Exams must be delivered at an Authorized Pearson VUE testing centre.
  8. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
  9. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

ICM v5.0

  1. Course must be booked and sat prior to 1 April 2012.
  2. Offer is only available to those who attended VForum in Sydney 2011.
  3. Offer only valid for publicly scheduled DDLS VMware vSphere ICM v5.0 course.
  4. Course price with 15% discount is RRP inc GST $4,537.50 - $680.63 = RRP inc GST $3856.87
  5. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

VForum 2011 Competition

  1. Winners will be drawn from correct entries submitted.
  2. 2 x Winners will receive a 5 day DDLS course.
  3. 1 daily prize will be drawn on 19 October and 20 October 2011.
  4. Course must be booked at sat before 1 April 2012.
  5. Voucher only redeemable on publicly scheduled DDLS courses held on DDLS premises.
  6. Voucher not redeemable on re-seller courses.
