Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) v 2.3

May 2006  Print

Cisco course Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) has been recently been upgraded to version 2.3.

This upgrade has resulted in the following changes to the course:

  • There will be less content about IGRP.

  • There will be more content discussing EIGRP and OSPF common commands with these protocols.

  • Routing protocols are mature enough so that IP Subnet Zero may now be enabled.

  • The Certification Exam is now being changed to reflect the enabling of Subnet Zero.

The ICND course is a 5 day, instructor-led course. The course focuses on using Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco routers connected in local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) typically found at small to medium network sites.

Upon completion of this training course, attendees will be able to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices.

DDLS has already implemented this course update and ICND v. 2.3 courses are scheduled nationally.
