New Domino 7.0 developer courses at DDLS

May 2006  Print

DDLS started running IBM Lotus Domino 7.0 Application Developer courses earlier this year. The new courses include N7D420 Exploring the New Features of IBM Lotus Domino Designer 7, N7D510 Fundamentals of IBM Lotus Domino 7 Application Development and N7D520 Building Applications for the Web using IBM Lotus Domino Designer 7.

The ND510 Developing IBM Lotus Domino 6.0/6.5 Applications Foundation Skills course is being replaced by the N7D510 Fundamentals of IBM Lotus Domino 7 Applications Development. This course is for application developers who are new to developing Domino applications and will be using Domino Designer 7. Through instructor lecture and student-centred labs, students learn fundamental skills required to create and modify a single database application that can be delivered to both Notes and browser clients.

The N7D520 Building Applications for the Web using IBM Lotus Domino Designer 7 course extends participants' Domino application development skills by teaching them how to use the Domino tools to design and develop dynamic Web applications. Participants learn how to efficiently use Domino fields and page lay out design elements in the Web pages. They also learn how to use JavaScript in their Domino application.
