New SQL 2005 courses added to DDLS schedule

DDLS have introduced nine new SQL 2005 courses into our Microsoft Training offering. They include 4 courses for Database Developers and 5 for Database Administrators.

The Database Developer courses are:

• Microsoft 2781 - Designing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Server-Side Solutions

• Microsoft 2782 - Designing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Databases

• Microsoft 2783 - Designing the Data Tier for Microsoft SQL Server 2005

• Microsoft 2784 - Tuning and Optimizing Queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Combined, the above courses make up the (MCITP) Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Developer certification
 
The Database Administrator courses are:

• Microsoft 2786 - Designing a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Infrastructure

• Microsoft 2787 - Designing Security for Microsoft SQL Server 2005

• Microsoft 2788 - Designing High Availability Database Solutions Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

• Microsoft 2789 Administering and Automating Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Databases and Servers

• Microsoft 2790 - Troubleshooting and Optimizing Database Servers Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Combined the above courses make up the (MCITP) Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator certification.

Both sets of courses follow the already released SQL Server 2005 Technology Specialist courses MS 2779 & 2780, which provide IT professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement and administer Microsoft® SQL Server 2005™ databases. 2779 & 2780 provide the foundational knowledge to become either/both a SQL DB Administrator or DB Developer professional.

All of the courses listed above are now available on our public schedule for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with Business Intelligence (BI) Developer courses set to be released at the end of 2006.
