Meeting your Microsoft training needs in 2006

February 2006  Print

Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS) is Microsoft's leading learning solutions partner in Australia. So much so that Microsoft awarded DDLS the Asia-Pacific regional award in the global learning solutions partner of the year 2005 competition.

DDLS offers both breadth and depth in its Microsoft training offering. There is a multitude of courses available in each of the different Microsoft product areas. Depth of training is a key differentiator between DDLS and other Australian Microsoft training providers. For example, DDLS currently has over 70 different Microsoft training courses available, and this doesn't include Microsoft Office applications training or Microsoft Business Solutions training that DDLS also delivers.

Developer Offering
DDLS is committed to the Microsoft developer community. We are currently reviewing the New Generation of Microsoft Certifications as well as courses related to .NET Framework 2. DDLS is currently talking to experts and reviewing new courses to offer developers a quality and rewarding learning experience.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
The new Microsoft tool set - Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 - is designed to provide students with a comprehensive tools kit that help you reduce development complexity and increase communication and collaboration via a broad range of .NET Framework-based solutions (mobile solutions, Windows application, Web sites and Web services.)

With the collapse of Aspect Education in Sydney and Melbourne, DDLS has expanded its developer offering and now has approximately 20 Microsoft developer courses available. Additional Visual Studio 2005 courses will be added to the schedule over the coming months.

Microsoft BizTalk 2006
BizTalk Server 2006 will help your organisation connect with your partners and suppliers and automate your mission-critical business processes.

DDLS is running half-day BizTalk 2006 clinics for both developers and IT professionals. BizTalk 2006 Official Curriculum courses are going to be scheduled in the winter of 2006 (MS 2933 for administrators & 2934 for developers). Since these courses are still in Beta, we will let you know when they will be added to our schedule. Our estimate is that they will be available for the BizTalk community by June 2006. For more information, visit the DDLS web site www.ddls.com.au/marketing/biztalk2006

Microsoft SQL 2005
DDLS has also been running SQL 2005 courses for database developers and administrators looking to update their skills to the SQL 2005 platform. Microsoft Official Courses 2780, for administrators and 2779 for developers, will be added to the schedule by the end of February. Please refer to the SQL training section of the DDLS website.

Microsoft Live Communication Server 2005
Live Communication Server 2005 is an exciting product that is set to increase productivity with integrated presence and real-time communication to locate people and share information quickly. DDLS runs a 2 day Live Communications Server technical overview course and will schedule Official Curriculum courses as soon as they are released by Microsoft.
