The new Security Essentials - Technology, Process & People training course has had great attendance at the first run in both Sydney and Melbourne. Designed and written by two of DDLS’ senior instructors, both specialists in security knowledge, the course also received great feedback from attendees. The instructors received positive feedback about the quality of the course materials and the course approach – based around the key areas of risk – Technology, Process and People.

This one day course is a great introduction for IT Professionals interested in developing their knowledge of security. It is also an avenue for Managers that want to know what today’s security issues are and to ensure that their staff get skilled in the necessary security areas.

An outcome that many attendees gained from the course was a clarity of direction when assessing Security training options for their IT Department. Security is always named as one of the top three areas of focus for CIOs, yet the training options available are not always clear. This course helps to focus IT Managers attention on the area that their department may need skills in most.
