Cisco IP Telephony (CIPT) parts one and two (version 4.1) have been updated to version 5.0 and is called Implementing Cisco Unified CallManager (CIPT) parts one and two.

Implementing Cisco Unified CallManager Part 1 (CIPT) 5.0
Part one of the new CIPT course provides learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to install, configure, and maintain a Cisco IP Telephony solution based on Cisco CallManager 5.0, the call routing and signaling component of the Cisco IP Telephony solution.

Implementing Cisco Unified CallManager Part 2 (CIPT) 5.0
Part two of Implementing Cisco Unified CallManager is designed to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable video calls and to secure, monitor, and manage a Cisco Unified Communications solution based on Cisco Unified CallManager, the call routing and signaling component of the Cisco Unified Communications solution.

This version update represents a great step forward by Cisco, and DDLS will be offering the CIPT v5.0 course on its public schedule early 2007.
