Overview:
This course examines the fundamentals of Cisco's wireless LAN technology.

Topics will include the concepts of autonomous and lightweight access points and controllers, network management solutions and security.

Please note: This course contains an additional day of training to accommodate the large amount of content covered in this course and to allow additional time to perform hands-on exercises such as performing site surveys.

* Define concepts of using wireless devices to create a Layer 2 bridge.
* Configure a controller-based wireless network using a Cisco wireless LAN controller.
* Describe the requirement necessary for deployment and performing a site survey.
* Describe the steps, concepts, and tools available while performing a site survey .

Target Audience:This course is designed for students who will be implementing Cisco Wireless LAN functionality. It is recommended for anyone who has or will have wireless LAN access.
Prerequisites:**ALL STUDENTS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN LAPTOP WITH WIRELESS CAPABILITY**
