Last month, DDLS launched its extensive range of Unified Communications (UC) training.

The launch comes as Australian organisations aim to reduce complexity and running costs at an IT level, and enhance communication functions for end users.

From 2009, DDLS will offer two new courses as part of its UC range:

▪ Cisco Unified Presence Design and Implementation (PRSDI)
▪ A dedicated Unity course

According to Dimension Data’s recent global Unified Communications Study, almost 75 percent of organisations are expected to deploy IP telephony by early 2009. The Study also found that click-to-dial on desktops and presence are already regarded as maturing technologies.

Another recent report from global analyst company Frost & Sullivan showed that Australia’s UC market increased by a staggering 31 percent in 2007.

DDLS now has Australia’s widest range of UC training courses in Australia, which cover:

▪ Core Infrastructure
▪ Call Control
▪ Messaging
▪ Presence
▪ Voicemail

According to David Gage, DDLS’ General Manager, “our approach to learning gives breadth and scope to any business looking at unified communications. We aim to alleviate the pressures UC places on staff and the network through education.”

“With a full range of skills at their fingertips, organisations can gain faster implementation times and faster ROI by using the one place for their UC training needs.”
