Meet Gary Duffield – Director Strategic Alliances at DDLS
Gary Duffield is responsible for proudly managing DDLS’ strategic partnerships including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AXELOS, APMG and Google.
Gary joined DDLS in 2011, bringing with him 25 years of experience as the Chief Learning Architect for QA Training, the UK’s largest learning services organisation.
Gary is proud to represent DDLS and Australia as a member of both the global learning advisory council for Microsoft and the AXELOS regional workgroup. Gary is chair of the IAMCP Chapter in Australia and has been a judge for the Brandon Hall learning awards for over ten years.
A former Australian Computer Society board member in WA, with the mentoring portfolio, Gary is passionate about helping promote diversity in IT. He is currently a mentor for both The Smith Family and the ACS.
Gary often describes his job as the best in the world, and that learning has enabled him to migrate from flipping burgers in the 80s to leading Australia’s leading, multi-award-winning, learning business. Outside of work Gary is often to be found on the beaches of Western Australia where he lives with his wife, daughter and Biff, the rescue border collie….
