The CEO's Corner: iTnews CIO Benchmark Awards

24 Feb 2016

I was delighted to represent DDLS at the recent 2016 iTnews CIO Benchmark Awards that celebrate the achievements of Australia’s technology leaders. The Benchmark Awards uncover the best projects delivered in our industry; the judges and CIOs seek to recognise technology teams and their leaders who deliver measurable value to their business, to customers or to the public at large.

DDLS has sponsored the Benchmark Awards every year since inception in 2012. When we first discussed this with iTnews, we were delighted to have the opportunity to support an award and recognition program that tells the stories of some of the fantastic outcomes that the IT industry delivers to corporate and government organisations, to consumers and to citizens. I encourage you to visit the list of this year’s finalists to read about their outstanding achievements.

Many of the Benchmark Awards entrants are DDLS clients. We are proud that our training services have contributed to the success of the IT projects within these organisations. Our Project Management and Managing by Project Subject Matter Experts firmly believe that Programme and Project Management is the engine that drives our clients' organisations forward; and that our clients can improve their chance of success by managing the right projects or programmes the right way. This is the reason that DDLS searches the world for internationally recognised, best practice frameworks and methodologies; and identifies experienced facilitators who can deliver this training in our classrooms in Australia.

DDLS would like to congratulate all of the participants in the 2016 Benchmark Awards. In particular, the finalists and the CIO of the Year winners in each category.
