Overview

The TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition Certification is a globally recognised qualification for architecture practitioners, established by The Open Group. This is an internationally recognised certification which is much sought after by employers around the world.

The TOGAF certification program is a market-driven education and certification program that ensures individuals have knowledge and understanding of the TOGAF Body of Knowledge.

Certification is only achieved by passing the exam at your home or office using Pearson VUE OnVUE delivery, or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

The duration of certification is indefinite - certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.

Training and exams required:

  • TOGAF EA - Foundation and Practitioner (Classroom or Virtual)

  • TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 exam from The Open Group

    • Multiple-choice exam consisting of 40 questions to be answered within 60 minutes. The pass mark is 24/40 (60%).

    • It is a supervised, closed book exam.

  • TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 2 exam from The Open Group (available combined with Part 1)

    • Scenario-based, complex multiple-choice exam consisting of 8 questions to be answered within 90 minutes. The pass mark is 24/40 (60%).

    • It is a supervised, open book exam. Note: an electronic copy of the TOGAF EA Body of Knowledge is built into the exam; hardcopy books are not permitted.
