Intro

Veeam certifications do not simply demonstrate an individual’s ability to memorise and replicate training course content. Veeam exams test an individual’s capability to successfully perform a role in the real world.

It is strongly recommended to review the training course content, release notes, user guides, product demos, videos, etc.

DDLS is a Veeam Authorized Education Center.

FAQs

How do I schedule a Veeam exam?
Log in to your Propartner or Veeam Account (create an account if you do not have one using the email used when booking training) and go to My VMCE certification page. Select your desired exam and click the “Register for…” button. Find the Veeam Authorized Education Center and attend the training course.
Click “Schedule exam” (for VMCE) or “Go to Pearson VUE” (for VMCE-Advanced) to schedule the exam.

I have taken the class and want to book the exam, but it’s greyed out on my profile. Why is this?
It can take up to a week for us to verify and upload course attendees. If it takes more than a week, it is often as a result of using different email addresses. If not, please email us and we will investigate.

Does the Veeam certification expire?
Yes, the certification expires after two full versions.

What is Veeam’s exam retake policy?
There is a 24-hour waiting period after the first failed attempt and a 14-calendar day waiting period after the following three failed attempts (from the second to the fourth attempts) for certification exams.

After the fifth failed attempt, there is a 12-month waiting period or the candidate must submit a request and obtain permission from the VMCE Security Team – [email protected] – for each additional attempt.

After the candidate has waited 12 months, there is a 14-calendar day waiting period after the sixth to ninth failed attempts. After the tenth failed attempt, the candidate must wait 12 months or submit a request and obtain permission from the VMCE Security Team.
