Overview
The Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA) 2021 certification is proof that you have the necessary skills to manage all stages of a Veeam Availability Suite installation, including the skills to design, deploy and optimise Veeam Availability Suite either in enterprise environments or in a professional services capacity.
VMCA certification is achieved by:
attending the Veeam Availability Suite v11: Configuration and Management training course
passing the VMCE 2020 exam*
attending the Veeam Backup & Replication V11: Architecture and Design training course
passing the VMCA exam*
The VMCE 2021 exam tests knowledge provided in the Veeam Availability Suite v11: Configuration and Management course, product release notes and user guides. Attending the Veeam® Availability Suite™ v11: Configuration and Management training course is required prior to sitting the VMCE 2021 exam. It is recommended that exam takers have a minimum of six months professional experience prior to sitting the exam.
The VMCA exam tests knowledge provided in the training course, product release notes and user guides. Attending the Veeam Backup & Replication V11: Architecture and Design training course is required prior to sitting the exam and you should possess the VMCE 2021 certification as well. It is recommended that exam takers have extensive experience designing and deploying Veeam Availability Suite in a wide variety of environments prior to sitting the exam.
