Since the inception of Bitcoin in 2009, cryptocurrency markets have grown from an intellectual curiosity into a completely new class of financial asset. With total market capitalisations totalling nearly $200 billion USD, cryptocurrencies constitute a vibrant and dynamic market of sizeable scale. They are made up of a diverse mix of coins, tokens, and other digital assets. These markets never close, are subject to their own price dynamics, and possess unique risk characteristics. This workshop aims to explore and demystify the complexities of this market, focusing on digital currencies operating on their own Blockchains.
