This official COBIT 5 Assessor Course includes an exam, leading to the COBIT 5 Assessor certification.
Following on from the COBIT 5 Foundation course, this course provides a basis for assessing an enterprise’s process capabilities against the COBIT 5 Process Assessment Model (PAM). It is evidence-based to enable a reliable, consistent and repeatable way to assess IT process capabilities, and this model helps IT leaders gain C-level and board member buy-in for change and improvement initiatives.
We explore how assessment results provide a determination of process capability. They can be used for process improvement, delivering value to the business, measuring the achievement of current or projected business goals, benchmarking, consistent reporting and organisational compliance.
The COBIT® 5 Assessor Exam held on day 3 of the course is:
- 2.5 hours duration
- 8 questions, each of 10 items, each worth 1 mark. Total of 80 marks available.

- A sample paper is provided during the course to help students prepare for the exam
Some review on evenings 1 and 2 of the course will be required, to prepare for the exam on day 3.
