This intermediate course looks at the IT department from an organisational perspective to truly understand how IT can help the business achieve their strategic objectives.
The course focuses on understanding how to design IT services not only as an organisational capability but also as a strategic asset. The course covers the management of service strategy and core information of supporting activities within the Service Strategy stage. A copy of the official ITIL Service Strategy 2011 Lifecycle Publication is also included as part of the training package.
This course pricing includes a voucher for the ITIL Service Strategy Exam which can be taken via remote proctor. Practice exam papers are provided in the course, and reviewed to assist in preparation.
The Service Strategy exam is challenging and consists of a complex multiple-choice, closed book paper of 8 questions, to be answered within 90 minutes. The pass mark is a minimum of 70%. Successful candidates will be awarded 3 credits towards the ITIL Expert certification.
It is highly recommended that you spend some time before this course begins and each evening of this course reviewing and consolidating what you’ve learned, to be well prepared for the exam.
