Do you use GPupdate and GPresult but don’t really understand what they do or how they work? Understanding how GPOs are processed, and the rules that apply, are key to troubleshooting Group Policy problems.
In this one-day workshop we will look into how Group Policies are applied, how they interact with each other, and how things can go awry. We will look at the built-in troubleshooting tools, including some options you may not be aware of and how they work, as well as when to use one over the other.
Have you ever had a situation where two users sitting side by side, in the same OU, same department, same groups, are having different results from Group Policy?
Let’s create a simple GPO, then create one that conflicts with it so we can see the effect and see how we can troubleshoot the issue, if there even IS an issue.
This overview workshop serves as a taster for the far more detailed Microsoft 20742 – Identity with Windows Server 2016 course.
Please note: We are unable to accept SATVs for this course.
