The 2017 World Economic forum cited Emotional Intelligence as the fourth most necessary skill required for people and businesses to succeed. Over time it has been viewed as “soft and fluffy stuff”, however, now the research shows it has hard consequences.
In this session, we explore the workings of the brain and the psychology behind why people do the things they do. We will share impactful research and throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on how this relates to themselves and the people around them.
This session provides the foundational skills for developing emotional intelligence and appeals to people who want to experience what is possible when they understand themselves and others better. Participants will be challenged to consider and expand their emotional intelligence and gain greater insight into their own behaviour.
This course appeals to aspiring, emerging and current leaders, business owners, salespeople, volunteers and teammates wanting to tap into a deeper level of emotional intelligence. There is an optional qualification upgrade available.
